Turnu Rosu Museum

Arranged in the building next to the church where the old school used to be located, it was opened in 1978 and includes authentic pieces representative to the village history, such as traditional costumes, looms, agricultural utensils. The museum contains very valuable pieces such as a Neolithic hammer, found in Lunca Turnului, as well as a collection of nummulites coming from the geological reserve.

In the museum’s book of honor we found great feedback from visitors, especially foreigners (German, English, French, Spanish), and former village sons who have returned to find their roots.
